I like Foxtrails. You hike, have excitement, play, and fun, just like with Kinder Surprise eggs. I think these trails are perfect for motivating children to hike. You're given a puzzle, look for the corresponding symbol, and then there's something to look at and also a puzzle to solve, which in turn leads you to the next puzzle station.

Foxtrail is a modern scavenger hunt

Their website describes it as a surprising mix of sightseeing, outdoor escape room, and scavenger hunt. That's exactly what it's about. My husband and I have already done a Foxtrail in Thun and the Saas Valley, and in Bern as a family. We always have a blast. At least two people are required to participate in the Foxtrail. Foxtrail Desoria in the Aletsch Arena

The Foxtrail Desoria is available in German and French, runs from Riederalp to Bettmeralp, and takes three hours. For more than five participants, two teams can be formed.
