The 2025/26 winter season in the Aletsch Arena starts on schedule on December 6, 2025. And there's already so much snow that you can get a first taste of this winter. If you'd like to combine that with good food and live music, you should consider the weekend of December 12-14, 2025. What might such a weekend look like?

The annual event, now in its sixth year, begins on Friday evening. Why not plan a wonderful day of skiing, followed by an evening of storytelling with a four-course meal at the Hotel Restaurant Panorama at 6 pm, and perhaps a nightcap afterwards in one of the bars or cafés with live music?

Ski testing on the Fiescheralp and Riederalp

After a restful night, head to Fiescheralp or Riederalp on Saturday for ski testing starting at 9 a.m. You can also try out a ski instructor on Bettmeralp from 10 a.m. to noon. During the lunch break, a Cordon Bleu Festival with musical entertainment takes place at the Riederhof Restaurant starting at noon. End your eventful day of skiing with an aperitif and folk music at the Matterhorn Restaurant on Riederalp, and perhaps afterwards visit the mountain Christmas market on Bettmeralp. From 6 p.m. onwards, the hotel Waldhaus offers Wine & Dine with stories from the Rhodan vineyards.
