Cross-country skiing trails in the Upper Valais

Do you fancy a different kind of sport in between? Riederalp offers you 2 cross-country ski runs for classic style as well as skating. For more challenge, there is now the season ski pass of the Aletsch Arena combined with the season ticket Talisman of the cross-country skiing trail Goms. Train journey included from Brig!

The Goms offers over 100 km of prepared cross-country ski trails from Oberwald to Niederwald in both classic and skating styles and of course also for beginners. So you can really let off steam, I've already tried it myself. Other family members don't like cross-country skiing? Then why not take a nice walk through the magnificent winter landscape. Preferably with a view.

Enjoying mountain views

For example, at the Bürli-Schiirli in Oberwald you can sit comfortably with coffee and cake. While your partner is busy cross-country skiing, you watch the hustle and bustle on the cross-country piste. Prefer to do some sport yourself, but in a different way? Then take a snowshoe hike to the Hungerberg. Do you have a child with you? Then take a walk to the Rhonequelle restaurant, from where you can toboggan back down to the valley.
