The ski passes of Aletsch Arena

Skipass-Saison Aletsch Arena 2025/26

The ski season starts on December 6, 2025. Of course, this is contingent on snow. The options for different ski pass combinations are constantly expanding. Therefore, as I do every winter, I would like to help you navigate the ski pass maze.

Ski pass – dynamic pricing

Dynamic pricing has been in place in many places for several years now, as booking early saves money. The age categories are: child (under 16), youth prices apply until age 20, and adult prices apply thereafter. If you buy a 4-hour ticket, the time starts from the first turnstile. Skiing for free is still available every Saturday for children up to 16 years old when booked with a SwissPass. The selective day ski pass allows you to buy 10-, 7- or 4-day tickets at the Aletsch Bahnen AG sales points and, as the name suggests, to determine your personal ski day.

Family ski pass and the childcare ticket for parents and babysitters

Not much has changed with the family ski pass. As before, the third child and every subsequent child up to the age of 16 skis for free. This means your child must be under 16, and the pass must, of course, cover the same period as the parents. Parents with a child under 6 still share a ski pass; one parent skis, the other is a babysitter. Remember to have a photo taken of you as a couple at the Aletsch cable car station BEFORE using your shared ski pass for the first time.

And then there's the AlpsPass.

The AlpsPass is new starting this winter season (2025/2026) and is valid in the ski resorts of Aletsch Arena, Adelboden-Lenk, Jungfrau Ski Region, and Engelberg-Titlis. Purchasing the AlpsPass grants three free days of skiing in each of the three Grisons resorts of Davos Klosters, Arosa Lenzerheide, and Laax, as well as in the Portes du Soleil and 4 Vallées resorts. The AlpsPass aims to ease the burden on family budgets and encourage young skiers. Valid from November 1st to April 30th, 2026, the AlpsPass is already generating considerable interest due to its affordable prices for children and teenagers.

So! New winter – new experiences. It's been cold since this week and the snow has already fallen. Make the most of it!
