Winter magic at the Aletsch Glacier
Winter begins and with it the time for winter sports. Enjoy the magic of winter outdoors in the fresh air. After a brisk ski run on the sunny side of the Valais, celebrate the view and life with a hearty meal.
Ski passes for the year or for the season
The price list for both subscriptions can be found on the Aletsch Arena website. The annual pass costs CHF 1,210 and the winter season pass costs CHF 860. Both cards include the feeder lift ticket. The advantages of the season pass are the additional use of the season pass in other ski areas such as the 4 Vallées and Portes du Soleil. There you can use your season ticket for 5 days. These two regions even offer additional days in summer. Be sure to take a look at the frequently asked questions on the same page.
Personally, I would definitely add the feeder railway when booking a travelcard. That way, you are free to take the MGB to the cross-country ski trail in Goms or take a winter hike down to the valley to take part in an event.
Single ski pass or optional day ski pass
After a look at the Aletsch Arena calendar for online bookings in December, the cheapest day ticket currently costs CHF 55 (as of 26.11.24). Please bear in mind that the daily prices are dynamic, i.e. if you book early, you will get cheaper prices. If you are interested in an selective day ski pass , you can only book at the Aletsch Bahnen sales points.
Family discounts on ski passes
Take advantage of the offers for families. The ticket for the 3rd child is free if it is under 16. There is also a childcare ticket for parents with small children under the age of 6. A joint ski pass enables alternate skiing. However, you must have a joint photo taken at the Aletsch Bahnen AG sales points. And the ski for free ticket is still available every Saturday for children under 16.
This is just a small selection of the options available to you when booking online on the Aletsch Arena website or directly at the Aletsch Bahnen AG sales points. Informing yourself saves money. I hope I have been able to help you and wish you a good start to the winter season.
