UCI MTB World Championships 2025 – Enduro and Cross Country in the Aletsch region

MTB-Trail im Aletschgebiet

The UCI MTB World Championships, featuring eight disciplines, will kick off in Valais from the end of August 2025 to mid-September. At Valais2025 you can find all the venues and the disciplines being contested. The opening event begins on August 30th in Sion, and the finals will run from September 10th to September 14th, 2025, in Crans-Montana.

Enduro and Cross-Country

The Aletsch mountain bike races are held in the Enduro, E-Enduro, and E-MTB Cross-Country disciplines. Enduro is a discipline in which riders, similar to rally racing, alternate between completing several stages, which are then judged. In terms of the demands placed on the riders, Enduro is a mix between cross-country (crossing and crisscrossing terrain) and downhill.

The route for the Enduro competitions and the spectator spots will be announced one week before the race. The start and finish are in Fiesch. The E-MTB Cross Country competitions will take place at the Bellwald Bike Park, with the start and finish at the Bellwald valley station.

The Swiss Enduro Series will take place on August 31, 2025, followed one day later by the Enduro and E-Enduro World Championship races. The E-MTB Cross Country World Championship race will take place on September 4, 2025. The World Championship participants will have training days one day before each race.

Combine the World Championships with MTB holidays in the Aletsch region

Is mountain biking your thing? Are you completely new to Valais? Have you never seen the largest glacier in the Alps in person? Then go ahead and spend a few days on holiday in the Aletsch region and shred the seven enduro trails, or maybe cheer on World Cup participants as a team member, exhibitor, or spectator .
