Climate change or not, that's the question

Say what you will, but there is no denying that glaciers are melting. The important thing is to understand what is happening geologically as a result. To this end, there is now a new theme trail in the Aletsch region called Moosfluh Geology Trail.The circular trail explains the effects of glacier melt due to global warming at 7 locations, using the Aletsch glacier as an example.

Special attention is paid to children's understanding. Through games, the little ones can learn practically why the mountains lack support due to glacial melt and why experts are watching mountains. And the Gletschi is also involved. The poor thing has to be freed! The little ones take care of that. No problem at all!

The opening of the new theme trail will take place on 07 July 2023 at 2 pm.
