Circus experiences with kids

Mitmachzirkus Aletsch Arena

Who doesn't love going to the circus as a child? At least I loved it. Even today as an adult, going to the circus is still exciting. Or have you not yet been to the Cirque du soleil? Then you should definitely do so. And there's another circus for the whole family on Bettmeralp this July. But then your child will be performing in the Marotte circus school's hands-on circus. That didn't happen when I was a child. Unfortunately. I would have taken part.

Children's circus with Marotte circus school

The Zirkusschule Marotte offers a holiday programme every year, which also takes place on Bettmeralp. Trained circus instructors show the children daily acrobatic lessons, lovingly encouraging the children according to their individual talents. The course is aimed at children up to the age of 16. Registration takes place on the Aletsch Arena website. Course starts next Monday, 21.07.2025. So hurry up. If you have the time and inclination, you can watch the complete complete 2024 programme on Youtube.

Artistic fairytale theatre in a white tent

And while we're talking about the circus, I'd also like to mention Nicole and Martin's fairytale circus. These two and their team will be performing a fairytale theatre with acrobatic interludes on the Riederalp from 31 July to 3 August 2025. On each of these 4 days, a fairy tale is performed, followed by an introduction to the artists. The performances are intended for the whole family with children aged 5 and over. Admission costs CHF 25 per adult and CHF 15 per child. With the Aletsch Arena Guest Card you receive a 50% reduction.
