One such experience is the fondue gondola on Bettmeralp. The Bettmerhorn gondola takes you comfortably up and down with a view of the atmospheric world of lights in the Rhone Valley. While you enjoy your cheese fondue with wine and tea and relaxed conversation, 4 people can take a seat in a gondola. But it also works for two as a romantic date with your girlfriend. Or once again express your appreciation for the best of wives with a t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate.<\/p>\n<p>The event will take place every Monday from 6 to 8 pm from 26 December 2022. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aletscharena.ch\/en\/planning-booking\/offers-experiences\/offer\/fondue-gondola-bettmerhorn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dates, prices and services<\/a> can be found on the Aletsch Arena website.<\/p>\n<p>By the way: cheese fondue has only been eaten since the 1950s. The first fondue recipe comes from the cookbook of Anna Maria Gessner-Kitt from Zurich from 1699.
