Do you like to give your muscles a chance to recover in between, either by relaxing or trying a different sport? Enjoying the picturesque views or trying something new gives you energy! That's why I'd like to suggest a varied day trip in the Aletsch region.<\/p>\n<h3>Movement through the winter landscape in the morning<\/h3>\n<p>Start your Monday with a guided <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aletscharena.ch\/en\/planning-booking\/offers-experiences\/trail-running-winter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trail run<\/a> on a selected route in Bettmeralp. We start at 8 a.m. Cost per person: CHF 20 (minimum 5 participants).<\/p>\n<p>Or how about a cross-country skiing trial? Classic cross-country skiing is usually the best option for beginners. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aletscharena.ch\/en\/planning-booking\/offers-experiences\/cross-country-skiing-taster-course-riederalp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A classic cross-country skiing taster course<\/a> takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:15 to 9:15. The cost is CHF 70 per person, including equipment, with a minimum of two participants. There's also a taster course for skating cross-country skiing if you're already proficient in classic skiing. The price of the taster course is reduced by CHF 25 if you include equipment. Afterwards, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ferienchalet-wallis.ch\/en\/huettenerlebnisse-in-der-aletsch-arena\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">B\u00e4ttmerhitta mountain hut<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>Prefer a picnic in the crisp winter air? Then join a guided <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aletscharena.ch\/en\/planning-booking\/offers-experiences\/snowshoe-trekking-aletsch-ridge-aletsch-forest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snowshoe tour along the ridge<\/a> between Moosfluh and Riederfurka. Mr. Roger N\u00e4fen will accompany you on the three-and-a-half-hour tour. A hike along the ridge on the Riederalp is a delight in both winter and summer. The views are magnificent, and the route offers peace and relaxation.<\/p>\n<h3>Movement in the winter landscape in the afternoon<\/h3>\n<p>After a leisurely lunch break in the sun, we continue on to a free activity that's sure to be challenging. At the ATC Avalanche Training Center on the Bettmeralp, you can practice <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aletscharena.ch\/en\/planning-booking\/offers-experiences\/avalanche-training-atc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">avalanche search and rescue.<\/a> The training area is located next to the B\u00e4ttmerhitta and is equipped with buried transmitters. Training takes place daily from 9 am to 4 pm.<\/p>\n<p>No time for cross-country skiing in the morning? Then try the taster course between 3:45 pm and 4:45 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Phew! The day is almost over and suddenly you get the urge to hit the slopes? Then you have the opportunity to participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aletscharena.ch\/en\/planning-booking\/offers-experiences\/night-skiing-in-bettmeralp\/riederalp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">night skiing<\/a> on Tuesday at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Please remember to book at least one day in advance for all my suggestions.
