Valais Blackneck goats are black in the front and white in the back, with a distinct dividing line in their long fur. Compared to Valais Blacknose sheep, they are rather spirited and self-assured. The Eringer cow is another special Valaisan breed. These cows have a pronounced hierarchy within the herd, which is established through fights.
